Travel insurance is not included in the cost of the holiday—you can buy a policy for £39. The cost of the insurance needs to be paid in addition to the deposit that way you're immediately covered for cancellation when you've paid your deposit.
Please note the insurance covers hired equipment to a value of £150. You are advised to take out the hire shop’s additional cover. This will cost around 10 Euros for the week.
NO additional premium is payable if you intend to ski off-piste.
If you have booked your insurance through us, the agent's reps will be on hand to help you in the event of a claim.
Please note that Tall Stories are not able to issue a policy more than 14 days after you have confirmed your holiday.
Full terms of the insurance are available on request.
The travel agent has a duty of care to ensure everybody on the trip has travel insurance, and therefore it’s a requirement that you provide the travel agent with a copy of your insurance details if you don’t take the insurance option.
If you do not provide this information by 20th December, Tall Stories reserve the right to issue you with insurance and add the cost of insurance to your final balance.
If you are unable to travel, you must inform Tall Stories, first by phone and then in writing. Tall Stories will then issue a cancellation invoice, which you can use to make a claim on your travel insurance, providing your reason for cancelling is insurable eg illness or injury.
Alternatively, if you know someone who would like to take your place, you should inform Tall Stories in writing and, where possible they will make the appropriate arrangements. There is a £60 administration charge for name changes and Tall Stories also reserve the right to pass on any administration charges from the operator.
Cancellations must be made in writing and sent recorded delivery to Tall Stories. We recommend you ring first however.
See the full set of the terms and conditions for the cancellation terms.
If you make your own way to the resort there is a discount of £110.
A 6-day Visalp lift pass is included in the price of the holiday.
This gives you access to the whole of the ski area, to the swimming pools and the ice rink, to night skiing, and to the town museum. If you’re travelling by train to the resort, you may wish to extend your lift pass to cover the 1st and last day of your stay. An upgrade to an 8-day pass will cost £35, enabling you to make the most of all that lovely snow!
Please send Tall Stories two passport photos of yourself, with your name, accommodation, and ski pass type. Your lift pass will then be ready when you arrive.
